Hand sculpted and cast in sterling silver, this fox pendant measures approximately 14mm long and hangs on an 18-inch chain. This piece has been oxidized to bring out its details.
Slightly stylized, this jewelry item is inspired by children's book illustrations created in the 19th century. These vintage illustrations were wood engravings and although some were coloured, many were black and white, consisting of lines. The animals themselves, like the character Reynard the Fox, were often anthropomorphic and very charismatic.
